William H. Warren Buried Yesterday At Hightowers

Funeral services for William Harvey Warren, who died at his home "Hightowers," in Caswell county, on Wednesday night, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home by Rev. Roy Whitley. Interment was in the Griers church cemetery. The Barlett Yancey Lodge Junior Order United American Mechanics held services at the graveyard.

Mr Warren was born in Caswell county in 1887, being the eldest son of J. L. and Lessie Walker Warren.

He had been a member of the Griers Presbyterian church for twenty five years, a member of the Masonic fraternity and the Junior Order of American Mechanics. He was married to Miss Lillie May Fergurson on December 18, 1913, who survives him with the following children: Elizabeth Kathleen, Grace, William Louis, and Mary Ila, also his father J. L. Warren, all of Hightowers.

Members of the Caswell Lodge of the Masons acted as pall bearers C. A. Dillard, J. D. Prichett, C. A. McDade, A. C. Murray, T. C. Smith and W. T. Riggs.

The flower bearers were Misses Hazel Williams, Annie Laurie Burton, Edith Wilkerson, Sudie Warren, Edith Walker, Welma Smith, Bulah Warren, Arline Brooks, Gertrude Satterfield, Myrtle Smith, Margaret Warren, Nelllie Warren, Dorothy Murphy and Christine Hooper.

William Harvey Warren (1887-1933) was the son of John Lewis Warren (1859-1934) and Lessie Ann Walker (1863-1908). William Harvey Warren married Lillie Mae Ferguson, and the couple had at least four children. He is buried at Griers Presbyterian Church in Caswell County, North Carolina.
