Service Man Dies In Caswell County From War Injuries

A gas attack in the World War claimed another victim on Wednesday evening when George Wedd Campbell, aged 35, a member of the 316^th Light Infantry, died at his home in Caswell county. His lungs became so impaired through the burning gas that he contracted consumption and has been steadily declining. He was born in Reidsville, N. C., being a son of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Campbell.

The funeral was held at half past two o’clock this afternoon from the home, burial being made nearby.
