Weds In Whiteville
The following from the Wilmington Star will be read here with interest:
“Miss Inez Moody, of Whiteville, and W. H. Graves, of Danville, Va., who has been a tobacco buyer for Dibrell Bros., on the Whiteville market this season, took their acquaintances by surprise one afternoon last week when they were married at the home of the Rev. L. B. Pattishall, local Methodist Minister.
“Mrs. Graves came to Whiteville a few months since from Florence, S. C., where she was a graduate nurse in the Florence Infirmary. During her time in Whiteville she has been employed in the office of county health officer Dr. Floyd Johnson. She is a young woman of rare charm and beauty and is popular wherever she is known. She is the daughter of Bartow Moody of Fair Bluff.
“Mr. Graves, whose first appearance in Whiteville was made a few weeks ago, with Mrs. Graves, will leave for Danville, where they will make their home, the last of September or early in October.
