YANCEYVILLE, N. C. April 25 (1933) - The attractive home of S. B. Fuqua, known to some as the old Dillard home, built half a century ago, was destroyed by fire at one o'clock yesterday afternoon. The home is in the Anderson township. The fire started in the roof and burned downward slowly. Sufficient assistance was on hand to permit the removal of virtually all of the furnishings and objects within the house. The house was covered by insurance. Sparks from the chimney are believed to have set fire to the roof.
