Caswell Races:1808
Will commence on Tuesday the 18th of October [1808], and continue two days --
The first day, a Sweepstake for Colts and Fillies, one mile heats, five have entered, closed.
The second day, the Proprietor's Purse for about one hundred dollars, or upwards, two mile heats. Entrance sixteen dollars. Weights agreeable to the Newmarket rules. Horses to be entered before sun set the evening preceding the race.
Toll will be collected at the Gates on each day of racing.
