Josiah Samuel in debt to Bank of Milton for $4,670, with R. M. Sanders as security, to Alexander Henderson, for $1, his interest in grist and saw mills with 100 acres adjoining on Country Line Creek, formerly known as Clay & Samuel Mill, but now owned by Samuel Yarbrough; also his interest in 100 acres where the widow of Jere Samuel now lives adjacent to Henry Roper and Craftin Williams, subject to a life estate of the widow. 3 December 1884.
