Obituary of Annie Bushnell Watlington

Annie Bushnell Watlington

Mrs. Annie Bushnell Watlington of 9913 Park springs Road died Monday at Danville Medical Center.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Caswell County. Mrs. Watlington was a faithful member of New Ephesus Baptist Church where she served with the Pastor's Aid and Missionary Society. She was a retiree of Annie Penn Hospital.

Her parents, James Monroe Bushnell and Annie Williamson Bushnell; beloved husband, Herman C. Watlington, Sr.; great grandchild, Keyana L. McMasters; two brothers, Andrew and John Bushnell; one sister, Ruth Bushnell; two sons in law, Thomas Siddle, Jr. and Reuben Pickard, Sr. preceded her in death.

Survivors are, three daughters, Drucilla Siddle and companion, Donald, Jacqueline Pickard and Annetia J. Watlington and companion, Jeffrey of Ruffin; one son, Herman C. Watlington, Jr. of the home; four grandchildren, Antoinette L. Crowder, Thomas Siddle, III and companion, Tina, Reuben L. Pickard, Jr., Zuri Watlington; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Maria Wilson Bushnell of Ruffin; one brother, Mason Bushnell and spouse, Mary of Maxton; special adoptive daughter, Beatrice Graves; other relatives and a multitude of cherished friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday from the New Ephesus Baptist Church, 8939 Highway 158, Ruffin with Pastor William E. Lee and Reverend Thomas W. Williamson presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family may be contacted at 4027 Quick Road, Ruffin. Funeral arrangements are by Johnson & Sons.
