Philadelphia Medical Society Eulogy 1802: Dr. Charles Caldwell, M.D.

An Eulogium to the Memory of Mr. George Lee, delivered by appointment, to the Philadelphia Medical Society, on the 24th day of Feb. 1802. By Charles Caldwell, M. D. Philadelphia: Printed by Thomas and William Bradford, Booksellers and Stationers...1802. Removed, no wrapper but it does have the half-title, trimmed top and bottom, 7 3/4 x 5, 34 clean pages, Presbyterian Historical Society stamp on half-title. George Lee was born in Philadelphia in 1778. His life and accomplishments are given here. He had not quite completed his studies as a doctor, but was renowned as a chemist as had been conducting experiments on human tooth decay when death took him.
