Oct 05, 2010 - 09:09:49 pm CDT: Burlington - Mrs. Inez Graves Madden, of 737 Sharpe Road, Burlington, passed away on October 3, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was 75. Mrs. Madden was born in Person County and was the daughter of the late Moses Graves and the late Nannie Elizabeth Williams.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Thomas Brown (Barbara) of Reidsville, NC, James Madden, of the home, Charles Madden (Jo Ann) of Knoxville, TN and Clifton Andre Madden of the home; two Godsons, Donald Brown, MD and Mike Moore of Blanche, NC; four daughters, Janet Inez Graves of Burlington, NC, Carolyn Brown of Ft. Washington, MD, Shelia Elizabeth Graves of Burlington, NC and Vickie Yvonne Madden of Temple Hill, MD; two Goddaughters, Donna Lindsay and Ingrid Burton both of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters, Patricia Pulliam of Roanoke, VA, Pasty Miles (Perry) of Burlington, NC, Shirley Richmond of Hurdle Mills, NC and Bertha Beasley of Prospect Hill, NC; twenty grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Jerome Brown and one brother, Bill Clayton.
Mrs. Madden was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the Roy Blackwell Chapel, Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, NC. Services entrusted to Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, NC.
