Miss Thomas Weds Mr. Gregory In Richmond

The marriage of Miss Harriet Frances Thomas of Caswell county and J. E. Gregory, formerly of Charlotte county, Va., but not living in New York, took place yesterday in Richmond, at 3 o'clock p.m.

Miss Thomas had been living in Richmond for some time with her sister. Mrs. Nancy Williams and was expected to arrive in Danville last night to visit her sister, Mrs. Arthur H. Taylor, Virginia avenue, but instead of her arrival with Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Taylor received a long-distance telephone call, stating that the younger sister had just been wedded to Mr. Gregory and that the bridegroom and his bride had gone to New York.

The bride is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas, of Hightowers, Caswell county, N. C. She was educated at Elon College, N.C. and afterwards took a course at Asheville Normal College, Asheville, N.C. Since leaving school she has been engaged in teaching English in a business college in Richmond,

Having frequently visited in Danville, she has made many friends here.

Mr. Gregory is a son of the late Dr. Gregory, of Charlette county, but has for several years made his home in New York, where he has been extensively engaged in real estate business. Recently he has divided his time between New York and Florida. He's a young man of broad education and business experience.
